"To save their world, they must come to ours." Huh? Why? Paramount Pictures has revealed the first trailer for Smurfs (that's the title), the next animated-hybrid Smurfs movie arriving in theaters this summer. This is now the fourth Hollywood movie featuring the little blue guys created by Belgian artist Peyo, following The Smurfs (2011) and its sequels. This new reboot is directed by Chris Miller from a screenplay written by "South Park" writer Pam Brady. This musical brings them into the real world for an adventure. When Papa Smurf is mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him. This fun new Smurfs features an all-star voice cast including Rihanna as Smurfette, of course, plus James Corden, Nick Offerman, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Erskine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña, with Kurt Russell & John Goodman as Papa Smurf.
