The internet is giving Speedy Morman major props for how he shut down a social media user who dropped a racial slur during a recent livestream.
Speedy Morman Drops Social Media User For Using Racial Slur
The Shade Room got their hands on footage from Speedy Morman’s recent livestream, where he was giving advice to a social media user. The video was originally shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a user named @Mia_Denyse. The clip sees Speedy dropping some funny love advice when things take a turn. In the clip, Speedy Morman tells the woman, “You’re grown, you’re 26, you probably want more,” adding that the guy she’s with or pursuing probably wants more, too, or “he would’ve been left.” Speedy shows his face during the live, but the woman stays hidden behind her profile picture.
Things went left, though, when she started explaining herself saying, “That’s the crazy part, you know when you know that your n***a cool. Like I know this n***a cool.”
Speedy Morman quickly stopped the woman and asked if she was Black. She responded that she was “half” and had a Black family. Then she apologized, saying she didn’t know how to explain it, but her uncle is Black by marriage.
Speedy didn’t hesitate to cut her off the livestream, saying, “I gotta cut her. I gotta cut it.” He threw on some music after removing her and explained, “cannot tolerate a non-Black person saying n***a on his platform, but he still has love for her and she’s got his advice.”
Social Media Weighs In
Social media users went OFF on the woman in Speedy Morman’s livestream in The Shade Room’s comment section. A lot of people called out the woman for casually dropping the racial slur, but they gave Speedy props for how he handled it.
