"The journey never gets any easier. The bond just gets harder to break. This is the way..." Disney played a fun 35-second TV spot during the Super Bowl for the next
Star Wars movie titled
The Mandalorian and Grogu, continuing the story and the beloved series about Mando and his adorable "Baby Yoda" companion Grogu. This promo spot is a riff on all the classic Budweiser Super Bowl
commercials where a carriage full of beer is lugged by big horses through a storm to get to the party. But this time it's Grogu & Mando heading through the snow. Featuring the iconic voice of
Sam Elliott, or so it seems. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu (as himself). This clan of two is ready for the fight! Starring
Pedro Pascal back again as Mando, also featuring
Sigourney Weaver and the voice of
Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt. With more music composed by
Ludwig Göransson – returning to score the franchise once more.
Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters
in May 2026 early in the summer. I dig this fun TV spot, clever and amusing and a bit better than just rolling a clip package. What do you think? //
