HBO Max has revealed the first look teaser trailer for a series called Task, created and showrun by the screenwriter Brad Ingelsby (of Out of the Furnace, Run All Night, The Way Back, "Mare of Easttown"). This is set for streaming in September but they're beginning the buzz now with this first teaser way in advance. FBI Agent Tom leads a task force in a Philadelphia suburb to put an end to a string of drug-house robberies led by an unsuspecting family man. The series features Mark Ruffalo starring as FBI Agent Tom, and Tom Pelphrey as Robbie, the two main characters. Along with Emilia Jones, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Thuso Mbedu, Fabien Frankel, Alison Oliver, Raúl Castillo, Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe Fox, and Martha Plimpton. The season's 7 episodes will debut weekly. All they're making nowadays are true crime series about criminals & cops trying to take them down.
