Disney+ has revealed the full trailer for Season 2 of the acclaimed documentary series called Light and Magic, an inside look at the brilliant minds within the FX company Industrial Light & Magic (known by everyone as ILM). The first season of Light & Magic debuted back in 2022, taking us on a comprehensive & deeply inspiring journey through ILM's history from the early days of Star Wars through Jurassic Park and beyond. "Showcasing the people of Industrial Light and Magic, the special effects division of Lucasfilm, this series takes us back in time as they create the effects for some of the biggest and most successful films of the last 45 years." This next season is directed by filmmaker Joe Johnston, who also spent many years working at ILM and is happy to tell more stories about their history. Of course, George Lucas is in this – and this season has a big segment on creating Jar Jar Binks (and the aftermath once audiences revolted against the CGI character).
