Warner Bros and Blumhouse have debuted the very scary full official trailer for the new 2026 horror remake officially titled Lee Cronin's The Mummy. No, it's not just The Mummy (like the Brendan Fraser classic), Cronin got his name in the actual name of the movie: Lee Cronin's The Mummy. The daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace – until eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them. What should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare... She is a freaky mummy now returned to life. This stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, Verónica Falcón, and Emily Mitchell. From the Evil Dead Rise director, this looks more like Pet Sematary remixed with The Mummy, with Cronin also trying to put in tons of Evil Dead-esque gore.
