Social media is sharing reactions to a few throwback photos of GloRilla.
According to Local Memphis, earlier this week, GloRilla made a $25,000 donation to her alma mater, Melrose High School. The outlet reports that the donation will “go toward improving educational resources at the school.”
More specifically, a new library space will be created reportedly allowing students to “use technology that enhances their learning in a safe space to study accompanied with flexible seating.” Additionally, the space will reportedly be renamed The Gloria H. Woods Media Center.
On Wednesday, December 18, Glo reportedly appeared at the school as the announcement was shared. Swipe below to watch her appearance and see an initial throwback photo of Glo from the school’s yearbook.
Subsequently, the rapper also took to social media to share a throwback photo of her time as a student at Melrose.
Social media users reacted to Glo’s throwback photo in The Shade Room’s comment section.
As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this week, Yung Miami also turned heads after dropping a carousel of throwback photos on social media. The carousel featured a plethora of flicks from the rapper’s childhood and showed her donning an eyebrow-raising hairstyle.
