On Thursday, January 8, Thugger basically kicked off the year on some “new vibes” energy — at least on Instagram. Instead of posting a pic of himself or his fiancée, Mariah The Scientist, he chose Kevin Gates as his new profile pic instead. Fans started hitting the stank face in reaction to the photo when they realized it wasn’t just a regular flick of Gates. The image showed him having a lil’ foot fun with an unknown woman. Young Thug hasn’t said why he picked that particular pic, but the internet is definitely demanding answers.
After TSR showed off Young Thug’s new profile pic, the comment section went UP. Some fans straight up asked, “What was the reason?” while others joked that Mariah needs to step in and start asking questions, too.

Speaking of switch-ups, Young Thug just caught a win. A judge ordered Georgia authorities to hand back the property and cash they took during Fulton County’s investigation. According to CBS News, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker posted the order on Wednesday and made it clear that the state has to return most of the seized items. That haul reportedly includes a 2022 Chevy Corvette, a 2022 Porsche 911, three Mercedes-Benzes, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a 2018 Lamborghini, a Can-Am Spyder, jewelry, and over $149K in cash.
