Folks online are asking Jayda Cheaves, “What’s really the tea?” after she seemingly responded to rumors about Ari Fletcher and Lil Baby. Apparently, TikTok’s been buzzing about Ari and Baby allegedly having a past fling. While on a TikTok livestream, Jayda started didn’t directly mention either one of them, but she did appear to respond when a viewer asked if the rumors about Ari and Baby were true. She was originally filling fans in on her skincare journey when one viewer straight-up asked, “The TikTok rumors about Ari and Baby??” to which Jayda replied, “Them rumors are true. No shade! That’s been going on, that been a thing!” She made it clear she didn’t want to talk it, but fans are now seated, begging her to step up and spill it!
Even though she purportedly claimed the tea wasn’t new, a TikTok user slid in the comment section under another post she shared telling her, “You absolutely did not stutter on that live queen!!!!” And Jayda immediately doubled down, replying, “BEEEEEEEEENNNNNN.“ So far, neither Ari Fletcher and Lil baby have responded to the claims circulating online, but the internet is on them heavy, really waiting on Ari to come to the front of the stage and share her side.
Once TSR shared the clip of Jayda, the comment section went WILD! Some folks are asking why Ari keeps getting dragged into every mix, while others are pressing Jayda on why she even chose to address the supposed rumors now.

Fans are scratching their heads right now, wondering where all the talk about Ari Fletcher and Lil Baby even came from. No one really knows when or why the rumors started, but internet detectives dug up old clips from Jayda and Ari appearance on BET’s ‘The Impact Atlanta’ series, leaving them to wonder if that’s where the divide started. Both Ari and Jayda appeared on season one and two. The series kicked off in 2022, but Jayda left the show after she seemingly falling out with Ari.
In 2023, Ari cleared her side on Yung Miami’s ‘Caresha Please’ podcast, explaining why she believes things went left between her and Jayda. Ari said she thinks Jayda felt a way because she became the show’s fan favorite. Ari said she just came on the show being her true, authentic self, while Jayda wanted to flex that she’s a boss. Naturally, Ari thinks fans gravitated to her lifestyle and believes Jayda didn’t like that. When Miami asked Ari whether she would considered rekindling her friendship with Jayda, she made it real clear that she has, “No desire to be cool.”
