Tracy Morgan has shared an update on his health just a day after experiencing a courtside medical emergency at the New York Knicks vs. the Miami Heat basketball game on Monday, March 17.
Fans grew concerned after Tracy Morgan was spotted courtside at Madison Square Garden during the Knicks game, only to be quickly escorted from his seat. On Tuesday, March 18, he hit up Instagram to update everyone on his condition. The comedian dropped a selfie from his hospital bed, throwing a thumbs-up.
Morgan used post’s caption to thank everyone for their concern and explained that food poisoning hit during the game. He also gave a shoutout to the Madison Square Garden team for looking out for him.
“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” he wrote.
Additionally, he even slid a lil’ joke, saying his sickness was actually a good thing as the Knicks are now doing good in the playoffs.
“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅 #goknicks” Tracy added.
Social media users packed The Shade Room’s comment section, sending Tracy Morgan well wishes and expressing relief that it wasn’t anything serious.

Tracy Morgan had folks worried after a video popped up online showing him getting wheeled out of Madison Square Garden during the Knicks vs. Heat game on March 17. In the clip, he held his face with what looked like a towel while they rushed him from his courtside seats. E! News reported that Morgan threw up and had a nosebleed during the incident. Fans couldn’t help but react, especially since back in 2014, he got seriously hurt in a car crash when a Walmart truck slammed into his his limo.
