Playboi Carti is full of joy this week as he celebrates the success of his latest project, ‘I AM Music.’ The rapper took to his Instagram Story to share his major accomplishments, including officially breaking the record for the most charting songs on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Playboi Carti Posts That Got Everyone Talking
While fans were excited to see their fave break new records, one post, in particular, grabbed all their attention. Carti tagged internet personality Giovanna Ramos, better known as Gio, in a photo and included the caption, “Ya ex could never.” The post quickly made waves online as fans tried to figure out the meaning behind the message and why Carti was throwing shade at Gio’s former partner.

Not long after Carti’s post, Gio took to her own platform and shared a few cryptic tweets. This left Carti fans even more confused and led them to flood her comments, trying to figure out if the two are actually a couple or not.

When Did the Dating Rumors Start?
Now, dating rumors aren’t anything new when it comes to Playboi Carti and Gio. Back in September 2024, the two sparked buzz after being officially spotted together. Since then, Gio has shared a few subtle glimpses of the rapper on her IG Story. Most recently, Carti had the model on stage with him during his 2025 Rolling Loud performance.
