And on the Eighth Day, this is releasing in limited theaters and VOD this month for anyone to watch. Two small-time thugs, an old woman living with a dark secret, a young woman desperate to get out, and a check-cashing store full of money will all intersect in a small Texas town – in eight days. Marking the feature directorial debut of actress Alexandra Chando. She explains that this little film flips "the heist genre on its head and tell a story through the female gaze. The idea that greed can sometimes play a significant part in driving our decisions, takes each strong minded character on a journey to an unexpected finish line." The indie film stars
