Ciara Spills The Tea On Her Conversation & Reunion With Rihanna
According to PEOPLE, Ciara appeared on a recent episode of ‘Sherri’ and discussed her reunion with Rihanna at the Met Gala on Monday, May 5. To note, their link-up arrived 14 years after their viral feud. Per the outlet, Ci Ci noted that it was “so sweet” running into Rih at the event.
“I just have to shout her out ’cause I’m so proud of her. This is her third baby she’s having now,” Ciara told Sherri Shepherd. “We were cracking up talking about — cause Russ [was] with us and A$AP — we all took a picture together and he started talking about cinco because you know I have four. [Then,] we start talking about quatro for her, but she got to get through the tres first — the third baby.”
Ciara explained that their conversation was “straight mommy talk” and “just sweet love.”
“Special moment for her. I got to shout her out because she also sent me a sweet DM a few months back saying she’s so proud of me,” Ciara told Shepherd. “It’s just sweet love, you know… It’s beautiful. It’s really beautiful and I’m proud of her, too. She’s rocking it in such a great way.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, after the Met Gala, photos surfaced of Ciara and Rihanna smiling for the cameras and embracing one another at the event.
The moment arrived years after, in 2011, when Ciara reportedly stated that she had a run-in with Rih, who she claimed “wasn’t the nicest.” Subsequently, Rih hopped on X, formerly known as Twitter, to write, “My bad Ci, did I 4get to tip u?”
“Trust me Rihanna, u don’t wanna see me on or off the stage,” Ciara reportedly responded at the time.
To which, Rih clapped back with, “Good luc booking that stage u speak of.”
