TMZ reports that Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty on Friday, March 28, of all five charges they faced. Their charges include running a fraud scheme, grand theft, identity theft, and other related crimes.
The judge considers Kingston’s mother a flight risk, so she’s remaining behind bars for now. Meanwhile Sean is on home detention while they wait for sentencing on July 11. TMZ also notes that if convicted, both could face up to 20 years behind bars for each count.
