Kai Cenat is speaking up, and this time it’s directed at the top of the chain! In a new video, the 24-year-old shares the moment he confronted Twitch CEO Dan Clancy over comments that appeared to downplay Kai’s impact on the platform.
Recently, Kai Cenat has become more active on social media following a hiatus after his MafiaThon 3 event in September. While the 24-year-old has yet to return to streaming, he has shared behind-the-scenes updates documenting his life during the break.
In a recent post shared to X and his secondary Instagram account, @kc3hidden, Cenat uploaded footage from the 2025 Streamer Awards in December showing him directly addressing Twitch CEO Dan Clancy over his controversial “Streamer Mount Rushmore” comments.
In the video, Cenat references a previous livestream in which Clancy excluded Cenat and iShowSpeed from his Mount Rushmore, despite having included Cenat during MafiaThon 3 the month prior. Cenat also points out that Clancy later stated he only included him at the time because Cenat asked the question directly. Cenat shared the footage with the caption, “No accountability.”
The interaction quickly sparked conversation across social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the moment.

Another Instagram user @dj.gimmixs wrote, “How he not on the Mount Rushmore he broke every record on Twitch by a mile 😂”
While Instagram user @caandyyt wrote, “I honestly think that’s why he left streaming.”
Kai appears focused on building beyond streaming. In a recent Instagram video, he revealed he has been working on a clothing brand called Vivet, describing the project as finished. However, he admitted he feels hesitant about releasing it due to online scrutiny.
Kai also shared that he spent the past three months in Italy during his streaming hiatus. He explained fashion is the first passion he has discovered outside of content creation. In the video, Kai is seen speaking candidly with his mother about his mental health and self-doubt, opening up about the fear that comes with stepping away from what he’s best known for and into unfamiliar territory.
