Jhonni Blaze is out here serving body and strength in Ciara’s viral chair challenge, and she’s applying ALL the pressure! The 34-year-old model had fans gagging as she worked a black foldable chair in a black-and-white bikini, holding it down with her legs in the air like nothing. But days after spilling tea about being denied a speaking gig at a middle school (allegedly because of her curves), the internet had a LOT to say, and Jhonni wasn’t here for it!
On Friday, April 11, Jhonni joined the celebs flaunting their curves and superhuman strength with the chair challenge. The challenge comes straight from CiCi’s new music video, where she’s lying on the top of a foldable chair in a straight pose. The move was so gag-worthy that everyone from Angela Simmons to Sherri Shepherd has already taken part.
Jhonni has now added her name to the list, and given her background as a professional dancer, she made sure to add her own lil’ spin to it, too. After performing the viral move on the foldable chair, Jhonni dropped down to the floor in a split. Wearing black-and-white heels and a matching bikini with her hair slicked back, Jhonni showed up and SHOWED OUT.
Roomies, y’all were quick to sound off in the comments section, weighing in with your thoughts on her moves to the challenge.
“The peach emoji fighting for its life,” @paristheefoodie wrote.
Another user by then name @brittanytonnett added, “This is why that school said no to her speaking to them kids.”
@itskaynicole shared similar thoughts, writing, “Yea sis they might not let you back on the school grounds.”
A fourth person, @noigbritt, joked, “Chair strong af🔥, they should have had these in Alabama that day.”
IG user @jiddystyless added, “johnni this why they didnt want you talkin to the children at the school.”
Another person by the username @fitnuse.bae commented, “Chile….. this ain’t what Ciara did!”
Meanwhile, @hint_of_soul commented, “She’s absolutely beautiful and undeniably multitalented. I just don’t understand why she doesn’t believe it ENOUGH to realize she doesn’t have exploit her body for us to see it.”
Jhonni ended up hopping into TSR’s comments section herself with a response to those who took issue with her video. The former dancer, seemingly unhappy with reactions to her take, clapped back at the comments about her body.
“Yes I can see it’s because how I’m shaped we all got a dang on past and these artist be nude to y’all like picking with me that’s all,” she wrote. “Lmao crazy af smh.”
But Johnni wasn’t done yet. She wrote another comment explaining why she decided to take part in the challenge to begin with.
“Look I was a creative with mines I seen Angela on the beach then I seen Ciara show a little skin so I said you know what let me just be creative !I’m in a bathing suit for god sake I’m having fun I’m not showing much. Everytime I do something I’m wrong lol y’all kiss my back kitchen lol […] Laugh a little see some positive stuff and stop being so up tight geesh!!!”
After some back-and-forth, the school apparently agreed to let her come after hearing about Jhonni’s excitement to speak with the girls. The former ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star was relieved, explaining that although the decision initially upset her, her conduct during the phone call with the school ultimately enabled her to meet the kids.
In a video posted to her Instagram, Jhonni wore a pair of denim overalls, a baseball cap, and a colorful printed shirt as she stacked up on more items from Walmart. She explained how the school had reached out again after hearing about the wonderful things she had planned for the kids. This prompted them to invite her back after all.
