Marcellus Wiley is staring down a half-million-dollar judgment from Preferred Bank while his personal life crumbles under the weight of multiple simultaneous legal battles.

The former NFL defensive end and media personality now owes the financial institution $549,429.82 after a court ruling this week, covering the original $500,000 loan he took out in May 2023 plus interest, attorney fees, and late charges that kept piling up.

According to TMZ, the bank filed suit back in December after Wiley failed to repay the money within the promised one-year window, and the judgment came down hard on Monday.

But the financial hit is just one piece of a much larger legal nightmare that’s consuming his world right now.

His wife, Annemarie Wiley, a former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member, filed for divorce and obtained a temporary restraining order after his July 4 domestic violence arrest in Florida.

The court documents she submitted paint a brutal picture of their relationship, with allegations spanning decades of abuse.

She claims he raped her in 2012 and punched her in the face in 2014, leaving her with a black eye, and that he’s subjected her to physical, sexual, verbal, and emotional abuse throughout their marriage.

The restraining order bars him from contacting Annemarie and requires him to stay away from her and their three children.

He’s been ordered out of their Encino home and currently has no visitation rights with the kids. Beyond his wife’s allegations, Wiley’s facing accusations from multiple other women who’ve filed sexual assault claims against him in separate legal proceedings.

He’s denied all the allegations and has pushed back on his wife’s claims, suggesting she engaged in infidelity and other misconduct, but the legal machinery keeps grinding forward regardless of his denials.

As reported by the LA Times, Wiley faces a misdemeanor domestic battery charge stemming from his July 4 arrest, with an arraignment hearing scheduled to determine his next legal steps in that case.
