Kristy ‘Sarah’ Scott is being selective with her social media presence as the internet slowly starts moving away from her divorce. As previously reported, she filed to end her 11-year marriage to Desmond Scott on Dec. 30. The news broke a little over a week later, and the internet lost its mind! Since then, Desmond has apologized, been caught on camera kissing influencer Marissa Springer, and returned to his cooking content. This week, he also popped out at an NBA game.
On Wednesday, Kristy Sarah took to her Instagram Stories for another drapes update in the dream home she and Desmond Scott built. Recent hints from the estranged couple suggest she kept the family estate, while Desmond found a cozy alternative. Neither of them has outright said so, just subtle social media posts for fans to examine and cling to.
A few hours after posting her drapes, she shared a photo of a pastel-colored flower bouquet in a glass vase. The beautiful arrangement didn’t appear to have a note attached in the picture. She captioned the photo, “Support system: top tier.”
She recently denied rumors that she used a Finsta to also cheat during the marriage. Over the weekend, Kristy also had fans in stitches and giving side-eyes after she dropped a video “activating her bob” while wearing a fitted Juicy Couture set.
Like Kristy Sarah, Desmond also recently thanked the people standing in his corner after he seemingly admitted to cheating on Kristy. While teasing his return to the kitchen over the weekend, he mentioned the supporters who have reached out to him. “Also, I’ve read every message and y’all have no idea how much ya boy love y’all,” Desmond wrote in one comment section drop. Additionally, he agreed with a fan who challenged him to “be better” with his new start. Even Kevin Gates got a response from Desmond after the rapper shared some words of support, from one formerly divorced man to another!
Last week, TMZ revealed Marissa Springer as the 24-year-old Desmond Scott was lip-locking in a Houston bar. Soon after, she confirmed she’s the mystery blonde that appeared in the viral kissing, but denied that she’s the person Desmond had an affair with prior to Kristy Scott filing for divorce. Kristy revealed the infidelity in her divorce petition, but did not reveal Desmond’s affair partner or details about the alleged cheating. What she did say is that the marriage is beyond repair. According to Marissa Springer’s video statement, the ink “is dry” on Desmond’s divorce, despite reports claiming there’s still agreements related to their two sons and properties to be made.
Meanwhile, Desmond has yet to speak on his passionate first-night encounter with Marissa. Instead, the social media chef has eased back into his cooking content, from showing off his new kitchen to whipping up a spiced sweet potato soup. On Tuesday (Jan. 20), he posted IG Stories videos seemingly showing him sitting court-side at a Houston Rockets game. Was Marissa Springer or another mystery woman his date? The internet hasn’t dug up that POV footage…yet.
