"If you're a good dancer, you're good in bed." Hulu has unveiled an official trailer for
Summer of 69, a coming-of-age high school comedy about a girl who tries to learn the (in)famous 69 sex position. No relation to Bryan Adam's classic rock song also called "
Summer of 69", though they probably do use the song in it at some point. An awkward high school senior named Abby hires an exotic dancer to help seduce her longtime crush before graduation by learning a specific sexual position. She enlists the help of a local stripper to learn some sex moves, leading to unexpected friendship and important lessons in self-confidence, acceptance, and adulthood. She also learns that true self-discovery and lasting friendship are more valuable. Starring
Chloe Fineman as Abby,
Sam Morelos,
Matt Cornett,
Nicole Byer,
Liza Koshy,
Natalie Morales,
Alex Moffat,
Fernando Carsa,
Paula Pell, and
Charlie Day. This doesn't look as all-out funny as it should, but who knows, maybe the best jokes aren't in this trailer. After premiering at SXSW it's out on Hulu soon. //
