Future has paid tribute to Young Scooter as Demetria Spence, the woman who allegedly made the 911 call before his passing, has been assigned a bond amount.
Amid the early hours of Thursday, April 3, Future took to his Instagram Story. He shared a clip that featured him and Scooter. Furthermore, the clip showed the pair seemingly attending a formal event as Scooter spoke to someone off camera.
“Life will never b the same without u my brother. I love you… this s**t unreal [broken heart emoji],” Future wrote over the clip.
Social media users stepped into The Shade Room’s comment section to share reactions to the clip of Future and Young Scooter. Additionally, they shared continued prayers and condolences for the late rapper and his loved ones.
According to 11Alive, Demetria Spence was scheduled to appear in a Fulton County courthouse on Wednesday, April 2. Per the outlet, Spence reportedly waived her appearance. However, booking records show that a judge has granted her a bond amount of $7,500.
Additionally, the outlet notes that if Spence satisfies her bond amount, she must “stay away from the scene where the incident happened, weapons, and cannot have any contact with witnesses.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Young Scooter was fatally injured on his 39th birthday on March 28 after fleeing a home in Fulton County. Subsequently, Atlanta police released the audio of a 911 call where a woman alleged a “girl” had been beaten at the residence Scooter was fleeing from, and an exchange of gunfire had taken place. To note, when police arrived at the residence, they were unable to corroborate the claims in the call.
On April 1, Spence took to Instagram Live to admit to being the woman who made the police call. Subsequently, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office shared that Scooter injured his right thigh while fleeing the home, and the injury led to his passing. By the end of the day on April 1, Spence was in custody and charged with “transmitting a false public alarm,” which caused “serious bodily harm.”
