"Don't be scared. You have been chosen... Chosen to bring us a gift!" Saban Film has revealed the official trailer for a horror film titled Son of Sara, another one heading straight to VOD this summer. It's being pitched as "the next generation's take on the horror classic Rosemary's Baby" but it just doesn't look good enough to have that kind of impact. A pregnant woman's cravings turn sinister as her estranged boyfriend's return coincides with a terrifying secret about the life growing inside her. Canadian director Houston Bone says: "After gagging Toronto at Blood in the Snow [Festival] this past winter, we are excited to be working with Saban to bring our grisly horror movie, and our new little monster, to audiences across the United States. This film has been a passion project for all of us since we shot it back in October 2023. Real blood, sweat, and tears went into bringing Son of Sara to the screen."
