Disney has unveiled the official trailer for a behind-the-scenes documentary film titled Not Just a Goof, arriving to watch streaming on Disney+ next week. Just in time for the 30th anniversary of A Goofy Movie! If anyone's celebrating? The doc explores the untold story of the making of A Goofy Movie – a 1995 American animated musical comedy-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. It follows a young creative team tackling their first Disney feature, its initial disappointment at the box office, and its surprising resurgence decades later. A direct-to-video sequel to the film titled An Extremely Goofy Movie was released in 2000. Through interviews with the key figures involved in A Goofy Movie's creation, as well as rare, previously unreleased archival footage & stunning animation, this gets inside the studio's inner workings and provides an unfiltered perspective on behind-the-scenes magic.
