"In this community, the trip doesn't always go as planned..." Red Hound Entertainment has unveiled an official trailer for My Dead Summer, a mockumentary doc film releasing on VOD soon. It's a riff on rock band tour docs and the iconic Grateful Dead experience - following fans known as "Deadheads." My Dead Summer follows Kenny Rodgers Royce (starring Paul Stenerson), a wannabe blogger who, in honor of his late mother's love for the Grateful Dead, sets out on a road trip to follow Dead and Company and live as a "Deadhead," joined by his dog, his ex-hippie stepfather, and a film crew. Documenting every wild moment along the way for his blog. The cast also includes Kevin Muster as his stepfather Zeke Carlton Esq, Ashlee Buchanan, Elaine Ballace, Bill Brennenstuhl, and Dalen Muster.
