The CW has unveiled an official trailer for a new series called Sherlock & Daughter, yet another fun new Sherlock Holmes reboot with a new twist or two. The crime-solving mystery TV series created by Brendan Foley, based on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, will debut this month on The CW and streaming on Discovery+. Sherlock Holmes faces a sinister case risking friends' lives. American Amelia joins, seeking her father after her mother's murder. Despite differences, they solve a conspiracy and her mother's case. Amelia also sets out to prove the great detective is her long-lost father. Starring David Thewlis as Sherlock Holmes, Blu Hunt as Amelia Rojas, Dougray Scott as Professor Moriarty, Antonio Aakeel, Orén Kinlan, Gia Hunter, Ivana Miličević, and Paul Reid as Inspector Bullivant.
