Paramount Movies has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror thriller creation called Twisted, a sort-of-Saw kind of concept but with a few grisly twists of its own. Alas it's being sent out to watch direct-to-VOD only right at the start of February in a few more weeks. From the director of Saw II, Saw III, & Spiral, a con artist's real estate scam unravels into a nightmare when she's captured by a surgeon with a terrifying plan. The story follows two millennials who flip NY apartments they don't own to new buyers who don't know they are being scammed. The con works brilliantly until they run into an owner who flips the game on them and locks them up. This stars Djimon Hounsou, Lauren LaVera, Mia Healey, with Neal McDonough and Alicia Witt.
