Chris Brown says he doesn’t want the award anymore after Texas Rep. Venton Jones apologized to abuse survivors for honoring the singer with a congressional recognition.
On Tuesday, September 15, Chris Brown took to Instagram to apparently share a now-deleted post which featured the caption, “I don’t want the award anymore my brother. You went on with don lemon and started tap dancing for them folk. Yall keep that s**t.”
On his Instagram Story, he continued, writing, “Funny thing is… YALL CAME TO ME WITH THIS ! NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND I was minding my damn business. My shows in Dallas were already sold out. I ain’t to be honored because I knew some s**t like this would happen…”
