It was TikTok user @theartistryofz who dropped a video explaining why she’s skipping Chris Brown’s upcoming ‘Breezy Bowl.’ The video went viral, with her saying the Holy Spirit told her not to go. She went all in, mentioning that Chris Brown’s music doesn’t align with her religious beliefs.
“All I started hearing was so many different things. So I was literally like ‘yo, you know what forget it.’ Forget it from me even thinking that I was possibly going to be going to that.” the woman says in the clip.
Chris Brown slid into her comment section with a response. The R&B star kept it respectful and considerate, writing, “Don’t worry, love, don’t come if it’s making you feel this way. God bless you.” But the TikToker wasn’t done with her comments about skipping the show. She dropped another video on the clock app, saying her decision had nothing to do with religion. She explained that now that she’s more in tune with her faith, certain things “don’t entertain her or give her the same satisfaction as it used to.”
