Chile, Druski is back with another skit, and if y’all know anything about his comedy, you already know things can get outta pocket REAL quick! On Thursday, the comedian took to social media with another satirical video that has folks connecting the dots to some familiar faces and moments from the entertainment world.
In the clip, shared with the caption, “Kid Stars grow up & be so Unpredictable,” Druski appears shirtless at a Pride parade with a shaved head and a kinky mohawk-style section of hair down the middle, declaring that he’s just “being me.” The video then cuts to a fictional family sitcom called ‘That’s So Zion,’ where a young boy questions why his sister can have a boyfriend but he seemingly can’t, only for his parents to send him to his room.
The skit later shifts to an interview with a biracial Black and white lesbian couple discussing a Black TV show they appeared on, with the interviewer calling them the “Blackest of them all.” The moment takes another turn when one of the women questions whether they were actually Black, adding, “None of us were Black.” The scene appears to poke fun at recent commentary surrounding Raven-Symoné and her wife, Miranda Maday, who discussed their experience working on ‘That’s So Raven’ and suggested the characters could have been “green.”
And that’s not all, Roomies! Another portion of Druski’s skit also appears to reference Orlando Brown, who starred alongside Raven-Symoné on ‘That’s So Raven.’ The scene seemingly parodies Brown’s past interview with VladTV, including a moment in which he appeared to break into unintelligible speech. The bit also seems to allude to Brown’s past public claims about alleged sexual encounters involving fellow actresses when he was younger. As Druski’s video weaves together references to former child stars and familiar pop culture moments, viewers may find themselves looking twice to catch all the apparent callbacks.
Chile, folks wasted NO time running to Druski’s Instagram comment section and running it UP. Some claim they already KNOW exactly who he was referencing in the skit. Meanwhile, others aresaying it’s all fun and games until the actors sue him, because chile, once they respond, it might be a whole different story!
