Jasmine Crockett has reacted after Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed she’s resigning from her congressional seat in 2026.
On Friday, November 21, Marjorie Taylor Greene took to X to share a video message with her followers. Furthermore, in the ten-minute clip, she revealed that she’s “always been despised in Washington D.C.” and despite which party gets elected, the country’s economy, job market, and overall trajectory declines. Additionally, Greene noted the country’s recent shutdown as disastrous and wrong. She also noted that she’s largely stood by Republican principles only disagreeing with foreign wars, the replacement of Amercan jobs with H-1b Visas, 50-year mortgage scams, etc., and advocating for the release of the Epstein files.
“America first should mean America first and only Americans first,” she stated. “… I have too much self respect and dignity, I love my family too much and I do not want my sweet district to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by a president that we all fought for…”
In a subsequent tweet, Greene included her official statement, revealing her resignation commencing on January 5, 2026.
Per NBC News, Greene’s announcement arrives amid her recent conflicts with Trump leading to the president to call her Marjorie “Traitor” Greene. Additionally, Trump reportedly withdrew his support for her reelection.
Jasmine Crockett caught wind of Marjorie Taylor Greenes’ resignation announcement and reacted with a post on X.

Additionally, Crockett slid into TSR’s comment section with additional thoughts:
“For all the tough talk some people have… I’ll just say that the president can’t keep my name outta his mouth & the right has consistently targeted me with violence AND I was recently trolled by right wing media for raising money & PAYING FOR SECURITY. Trump unleashes his mob on his opposition & they are emboldened because he’s handing out pardons like he’s Oprah, BUT, you have to have your why & be grounded in your faith & understand that the battle is not yours! If only she coulda walked a day in the shoes of those of us being subjected to the character assassinations & hate, earlier in her career… maybe she wouldn’t have assisted in creating the very environment that is now terrorizing her,” she wrote.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Jasmine Crockett and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s public relationship initially went viral in May 2024. At the time, Greene called out Crockett’s “fake eyelashes” during a House Committee hearing. Subsequently, when she was asked to apologize to Crockett, Greene did not comply. Ultimately, Crockett responded, calling out Greene’s “bleach blond, bad-built butch body.”
Ultimately, the ladie’s exchange went viral and Crockett trademarked the phrase as Green was heckled for her display.
