Bhad Bhabie Opens Up On Her Tough Childhood
On Thursday, April 10, Ari released the
YouTube episode she shot with Bhad Bhabie
last month. They aimed to bring some heat to the kitchen, but the conversation dove into heavy territory QUICK. Bhabie laid her life bare, taking it back to her teenage years after going viral with her appearance on
Dr. Phil. Right after telling the audience to “
Cash Me Ousside,” Bhabie was sent to Turn-About Ranch. She described it as a nightmare, saying the camp was “abusive.” She said she was supposed to be there for 101 days, but they tried to keep her for six months!
“You look at somebody wrong, they put you on reflection, now you sitting at a desk with your face to the wall. You can only eat peanut butter sandwiches and cold ramen while everybody eating regular food. They don’t care, they’re evil.”
Ari pressed for details, asking, “Why didn’t your mom come pick you up?” Bhabie explained that her mom didn’t believe her cries for help. Bhabie said the camp was monitoring letters, so spilling the deets about her experience in the camp was near impossible, and phone calls were allegedly off-limits.
Bhabie Opens Up About Experiencing Molestation
Their conversation about the ranch continued to get deeper. Bhabie hinted at other traumatic experiences, adding, “There were kids that were getting molested.” Ari’s mouth opened in shock as she stared at Bhabie. When she asked if Bhabie was one of the victims, she clarified, “Not there.” However, she revealed she’d been through it before in her childhood. Ari appeared shocked by the revelation as she tried to keep it together. Bhad Bhabie then added, “I don’t know how many times you want to count it.”
Fletcher dug deeper, asking who was out here doing Bhabie dirty. The rapper didn’t shy away from answering, revealing her mom’s ex-boyfriend was allegedly inappropriate with her from ages three to six, then another unidentified man from 13 to 16. She added, “I had 30-year-old boyfriends when I was 16, 17.”
Ari Fletcher’s mouth opened when Bhad Bhabie said another person had also molested her. The room went dead silent. With her hand over her mouth, Ari asked, “He was molesting you?” Bhabie just said, “Yeah.” She then shared that her mom eventually cut ties with the man she accused of being inappropriate with her. However, when Ari asked if her mom went off on him, Bhabie shook her head. In response, Fletcher said, “I just got a little sad, I don’t want to finish filming […] Oh my goodness, how do I finish now?”
Social Media Reacts To Bhad Bhabie’s Claims
Soon after the episode aired, fans took to social media to react to some of Bhabie’s statements. People appeared to have a lot of compassion for the Florida native. She mentioned to Ari that some of her confessions on the show were the first time she had said them in public.
Another X user, @xoaasiaa, wrote similar words, tweeting, “The episode with Ari & bhad Bhabie was so sad because it’s so many victims out here who are going through the same thing as her and feel like nobody heard them or they didn’t get justice and it just breaks my heart.”
