Johanna Moder. The film is premiering in the Main Competition at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival and also stands out as one of the better films in the entire Berlinale line-up this year. I really dug this and have been thinking about it often since first catching my screening. Moder's
Mother's Baby features very eerie, creepy vibes throughout. I was entirely caught up in the story, following her along, hoping we'll find out just WTF is going on with this baby and this strange clinic. This film will play well with horror fans, as well as mothers, as well as anyone who appreciates smart, crafty filmmaking. Though it may freak out new mothers like her. //
