"Choose a side – or get caught in the crossfire." ESX has revealed the trailer for an action thriller western titled Day of Reckoning, made by director Shaun Silva, best known for making over 60 music videos. This is finally set to open in theaters nationwide at the end of March, they're ramping up the marketing now. Put-upon lawman John Dorsey, who's on the verge of losing his wife and his job as sheriff, posses up with a bullish U.S. Marshall Butch Hayden to detain and hold the cunning outlaw Emily Rouse hostage. A battle of wills ensues as Emily turns the posse on themselves, but as her marauding husband and his gang approach, Emily and John realize they will also need each other to survive. Starring Billy Zane and Zach Roerig as Hayden and Dorsey, respectively, along with Cara Jade Myers, Scott Adkins, and Trace Adkins. This film also includes appearances by & music of the celebrated country artists Yelawolf, Struggle Jennings, and Bones Owens, for an extra tip of the hat to anyone excited for this. It is described as a "combustible contemporary western that sets lawmen seeking retribution against defiant criminals determined to evade the long arm of justice no matter the cost."
