"She's not Italian, okay, she doesn't want children, and now she insults my cooking?!" Uh oh, danger. An official trailer has debuted for an indie comedy called The Italians, the latest creation from the filmmaker Michelle Danner - who also stars in this as Angelina. The film originally premiered last year at the LA Italia Festival and it will be out on VOD to watch in April this spring. A traditional Italian-American family meets their sons new girlfriend, who is NOT Italian. Plenty of antics and arguments and comedy ensue. Danner adds this intro: "This is a deeply touching story about loving family, forgiving family and irresistible Italian food." Grande! The indie comedy stars Abigail Breslin, along with Matthew Daddario, Lainie Kazan, Olivia Luccardi, David DeLuise, Perrey Reeves, Rob Estes, Michelle Danner, Luca Riemma, and Roger Gershman.
