Masika Kalysha isn’t backing down from online heat! Last month, her estranged husband, Jamar Champ, passed away in a wrong-way car crash in Houston. She’s been vulnerable about her grief, including posting photos this week from his funeral. Unexpectedly, Hoodtrophy Bino–who dated Chrisean Rock this year–posted photos hinting at a romantic relationship with Masika. Amid the internet sounding off, Rayface spent part of his birthday online, dragging the influencer “as for the streets.”
Rayface, a rapper also known for dating ‘Love & Hip Hop ATL’ star Bambi, celebrated his born day on Friday. Amid reposting birthday shoutouts on Instagram Story, he reshared a photo HoodTrophy Bino posted with Masika that ended up on The Shade Room. He wrote, “This slow crazy mf want all the attention she can get damn smh omg…ok cool let me help you out.” His next post was a video of Masika Kalysha standing at the counter of a store, facing away from the camera. A man, believed to be Rayface, asked “You got everything you want?” After posting a few more shoutouts, Rayface circled back with another message seemingly aimed at Masika.
“I know a person in need gone do whatever for money but you have to be a different type of person to try to come up off grieving people.”
The rapper also shared a photo of Masika Kalysha lying on a couch wearing a Self Made sweatsuit. He wrote, “Keep repping the gang though,” using the brand name as a hashtag. In another Instagram Story post, Ray suggested that Kalysha made grieving difficult for Jamar Champ’s family.
“This lady came out here and made everyone life a livin hell while we were grieving our loved one…She wanted money clout and pictures that’s it smh.”
Masika clapped back at Rayface’s comments and video on the same platform he blasted her on. Taking to her Stories on Friday, she didn’t address Ray by name, but said that “grown men” want attention from her. She also implied that the shopping video he posted was five-year-old sneak footage. “Y’all are CLOWNS!!! You’re mad bc it’s not YOU,” she wrote.
“You’re disgusting! Y’all smile in my face and THANK ME 100 times for HOLDING MY HUSBAND DOWN LIKE I DID EVEN THOUGH YALL KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. I did EVERYTHING BY MYSELF.”
She didn’t address the comments about Jamar Champ’s family and her presence in Houston after his death. However, she made it clear that she showed up how a wife should, even when estranged. For the first time, she clarified that a divorce from Jamar was in the works.
“Y’all better PRAY you have a wife that’s going to take care of EVERYTHING FOR YOU even if you’ve BEEN separated with a divorce pending! Out of respect for my late husband I won’t speak on THAT BUT YOU WEIRD A** CLOUT CHASING N*GGAS KNOW!!! How f*cking dare you.”
Rayface has yet to react to Masika Kalysha clocking his tea on her. Meanwhile, after clearing the air on what THAT rapper had to say, she gave a different response to the OTHER ONE making her go viral this week: HoodTrophy Bino. He set her fans on detective mode after sharing a photo of her, captioning it “Baby” on his Instagram Story. She hinted at being on the same page when she reposted it to hers and pinned a comment from him on her feed, in which he called her the love of his life.
After responding to Rayface, Masika Kalysha shared a video on IGS, wearing Hoodtrophy Bino’s chain. He had also shared a video of Masika in the studio with him, complimenting how “good” she looked while she blushed and flirted, too. Another video shows him standing close behind her, burying his head in her neck, and them sharing a kiss while they sung to each other.
