"Is there any chance you won't kill me?" Saban Films has revealed the official trailer for In Cold Light, a crime thriller from Canadian filmmaker Maxime Giroux. This premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and will be out in limited release starting in January early in the New Year. In a city pulsing with the surreal chaos of an urban rodeo, Ava is fresh out of prison and ready to take back what's hers. But as she sets her plan in motion to reclaim her drug empire, she witnesses the unthinkable: the brutal murder of her brother. Forced to flee into a nightmarish underworld where allies are scarce & enemies multiply by the minute, Ava must fight to stay alive — and figure out who set her up — before the killers find her first. Starring Maika Monroe, Troy Kotsur, Helen Hunt, & Allan Hawco. It's a bit strange this character Monroe is playing is quite similar to the character she's playing (fresh out of prison) in her other 2026 film Reminders of Him out next year, too.
