Okay, so BOOM! A Facebook post started making rounds online, claiming that Jackie Christie allegedly cheated on her husband, Doug Christie, with his former teammate Chris Webber. For context, Doug and Chris previously played for the Sacramento Kings together. The post went on to say that Jackie had a baby with Chris behind Doug’s back. It also claimed Chris raised the child for years before finding out the child wasn’t his.
Chris didn’t waste any time reacting to the viral post. He jumped on social media to shut the claims down. In a clip LiveBitez shared, the athlete told fans not to believe everything they see online, when it’s “all lies” with zero proof behind it.
“The internet is undefeated. The enemy wants us to be distracted man. You gotta put your blinders on. Stay focused man,” Chris Webber said in the clip.
Additionally, Chris made it clear that he won’t let trolls defame his reputation and revealed that his lawyers are already taking action.
