Stella Montis is one of the more dangerous locations in ARC Raiders, and Shani's Fragmented Logs quest sends players into several areas where careful movement matters. The mission has three main objectives, but they do not need to be completed during the same Raid. For players preparing their loadout, understanding the route and required materials can make ARC Raiders Items management much smoother.
Before entering Stella Montis, make sure your backpack contains one Electrical Component. This is essential for the first objective because you need to spend the component when repairing a disabled terminal. Without one, you cannot complete that part of the quest immediately.
If you forget the component or lose it during the Raid, there is still an alternative. Around the Robotic Sandbox, abandoned robots can be searched after being defeated, and they have a chance to provide an Electrical Component. However, relying on random drops is less convenient than simply bringing one from the start.
Since the component is consumed during the repair, remember that having it in your inventory is part of the preparation rather than an optional extra.
The first objective takes place in the Robotic Sandbox, located around the central section of Stella Montis. There are two control rooms, Sandbox A and Sandbox B, and either room can be used for the mission.
Once you reach the area, search the rooms and corridors for a terminal displaying the “Out of service” status. Interact with it and use your Electrical Component to repair the terminal. After the repair is complete, you can move on to the next objective.
There is no real benefit to spending a long time fighting everything in the Sandbox. The area can contain dangerous ARC forces, so completing the interaction quickly and moving onward can help reduce unnecessary risks.
The second objective is located close to the Robotic Sandbox, making it a convenient follow-up destination. Head toward the Conduit Backrooms and search for one of the power switches in the area.
A useful location to check is east of Sandbox A. You need to enter the underground or rear corridor section and find the power switch mounted on a wall. Interacting with the switch restores the power required by the mission.
Several switches may be present, so do not worry if the first corridor you enter does not immediately reveal the correct interaction. Staying close to the Sandbox while searching keeps the route relatively compact.
After restoring the power, the final objective takes you toward the northeastern part of Stella Montis. Your destination is the Cultural Archives, where you need to activate the main data terminal.
The Archives can be particularly dangerous because ARC enemies may patrol the surrounding area. Ground units, defensive turrets, and Shredders can all make a direct approach risky. For solo players, avoiding unnecessary combat is usually the safer way to handle this section.
Once inside the Cultural Archives, look for the Service Backrooms. Continue deeper into the area until you locate the Mainframe Data Terminal. Interact with the terminal to boot it and finish the final objective of Fragmented Logs.
Finishing the terminal interaction is only part of a successful Raid. You still need to survive long enough to extract, so avoid becoming careless once the quest objectives are complete.
The areas around both the Robotic Sandbox and Cultural Archives can contain significant threats. If enemies are already active nearby, taking a quieter route can be better than forcing a fight. This is especially important for solo players, since prolonged combat can attract additional enemies and consume valuable resources.
The ability to carry progress between Raids also gives you room to play patiently. If one section becomes too dangerous, there is no need to turn the entire mission into a risky all-or-nothing attempt.
After successfully submitting Fragmented Logs, players can unlock Shani's next mission series, Furtive Meetings. That quest also takes place in Stella Montis, so learning the layout during this mission can be useful later.
Overall, the simplest approach is to prepare the Electrical Component, repair the terminal at Robotic Sandbox, restore power in Conduit Backrooms, and then travel northeast toward Cultural Archives. Keeping fights to a minimum makes the route easier to manage, while players looking to conserve resources can also consider cheap ARC Raiders Materials when preparing for future Stella Montis runs.
