I began playing RuneScape 2 (now OSRS)

About

Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is loved for its nostalgic appeal. It truly is "old time," which is what makes it so well-known in comparison to OSRS gold RuneScape 3 (RS3), the latest "official" edition of the game. OSRS typically has between two and three times as many players than RS3 which is currently number being between 82k and 23k simultaneous players, and 23k.

My Personal Experience

I began playing RuneScape 2 (now OSRS) in the 4th grade. It was nearly thirteen years ago. I've played intermittently since then. The first couple of years I call the "Golden years." I had a lot of enjoyment just playing the game, wandering around the kingdoms, taking out whatever enemies I came across and talking to fellow gamers. At the time I was not aware of effectiveness. I had having as much fun exploring Gielinor (the planet where RuneScape is set) as I do today when I tackle more difficult quests.

Although I'm able to achieve much more, RuneScape is the kind of game where you could be able to spend days, hours or even many years (like the time I spent) doing nothing other than exploring and talking and still have lots of enjoyment!

Communication Is Key

The ability to interact with other players using this chat feature, emoticons, items as well as by creating designs with the minimap of your inventory creates incredible multiplayer experiences. Communication is essential for video games as it can bring levels of fun which aren't available elsewhere. In the time I've played I've been able to have a number of RS friends, role-playing partners and even the best of friends. I've spent many enjoyable time talking to friends. This could be said of any game, but isn't it? Perhaps it's not true. RuneScape truly tries to make communication enjoyable!

You are getting engaged to your RS fiancé? Get them flowers and rings! Are you interested in cosplaying as an snake? Go right ahead. There are thousands of items in RuneScape to aid in adding strategy (and the complexity) to battle and the numerous skills. But, they can also make playing with your players (and strangers) an absolute blast!

Yes, you can enjoy hundreds, if not hundreds of hours entertainment with OSRS without ever reaching the final game, but should you want to make the most of OSRS it is going to have to get started playing. Skills require a lot of time to improve once you've gotten to higher levels. In fact it can take an incredibly long time and a lot of effort that the designers believed that no one would ever reach the level 99. Today, almost everyone owns at minimum one ability at 99!

Of course, the rates of experience are higher now which means it's not as difficult to obtain 100 as at the beginning. But it's still a hassle to get the pocket. It's true, after 13 years, I haven't found one! I've had a few accounts throughout the years, but I've only been playing with my account since the year 2014. However, I'm determined to do my best to get that 99!

For the content that you can access when you've reached the highest levels and complete quests for the end there's a lot to do. There are a lot of enemies, Slayer (one of the many abilities) monsters, equipment that you can build, ores that you can mine, and fish you can catch... fish, etc.

Of course, the more advanced degree you're at the better you accomplish. For instance, OSRS just recently released Song of the Elves, the final chapter of the Elf quest line which players have been waiting for for the past 14 years (yes 14 many years!). It also included Priffdinas which is an Elven city packed with lots of new content including new NPCs, equipment bosses, and more. The only way to gain access to that content is to complete the previous seven quests (and possibly a few more which are linked to it). So, advancing requires questing... A lot of searching.

"Newer doesn't necessarily mean better

Old School RuneScape is an enormous, distinctive, and highly-loved (by the players and creators) MMORPG. I have been entertained in, active, and happy for over 13 years. There is no other game that has had this impact on me. High-end graphics do not necessarily translate to Cheap RuneScape gold higher quality games. If you've never played the game before What are you wasting time for?Mining Leveling for F2P Players

F2P players are limited in their options to mine. If you're committed to advancing your the mining experience to 99. You should consider joining. It is possible to get your membership for less by purchasing OSRS gold, and then purchasing bonds through the Grand Exchange.
